I met Sofia in Brazil. We arrived to Czech Republic in order to show how people dance in Brazil in saloons of Rio de Janeiro. First we just opened dance course together with Sofia. The beginnings were hard; we did note have money neither students. After one year we established a dance studio. People like our studio, because it was and still is very familiar, friendly and is opened for everybody, not only for those who can dance. We organize different birthday or farewell party, dancing Fridays, where everybody can go dancing and have fun or we just make a performance. The courses comprise of whole scale of Brazil dances and their variations for adults and kids as well. Last year, we organized the first Brazil dance festival with more than 250 people, where they could learn dances as samba, salsa, zouk, rumba, cha-cha-cha and other styles. As dance group “Brasil show” we create various choreographies, dancing or scenic, organize performances of Brazil and Latin dances. Besides dancing, me and Sofia, we are taking care of our newborn baby Orlando. In the future we plan to extend the Brazil dances to whole Czech Republic.
